Perhaps your child has just been diagnosed
with hearing loss or fitted with hearing aids...
now what? Or maybe your child has had
hearing loss for some time, but you need
someone to talk to about social concerns
or educational issues. If you have any
questions at all, we can help or at least
point you in the right direction for answers.

The Rochester chapter of the Hearing Loss Association of America (HLAA) is forming a support group for children with hearing loss and their families. The group aims to provide a forum for kids to interact, families to network, share and acquire information, enjoy social activities together, and learn more about how children with hearing loss can successfully navigate the hearing world. Having a network of friends “just like them” can buffer that sense of isolation that kids with hearing loss experience, and provide them with a feeling of self-acceptance and belonging. The group’s activities and programming will be self-directed and will benefit from connections with the local HLAA chapter and with the national organization.

Call or email us today if you are interested in learning more about the emerging HLAA Rochester Parents Group and annual Walk4Hearing public awareness event.
